More Premium Bond Winners

NS & I have announced that the rate of return on Premium Bonds will increase from 1% to 1.5%, making each bond holder 50% more likely to make a win.

This brings the odds down from 36,000 to 1 to 24,000 to 1. A Premium Bond holder with just £2,000 invested could expect on average 1 winning cheque per 12 months. The increase will be in the form of an extra half a million prizes from the October draw.
