Most online sales and other e-commerce services available via the Site are provided either by us as an agent for third-party suppliers or by third parties via websites framed on the Site.

(1) The contract for the goods or services in question will be made directly between you and the relevant supplier.

Please make sure that you have read the relevant supplier’s terms and conditions before completing your transaction. You can obtain a copy of the applicable supplier’s terms and conditions by contacting the supplier directly and

(2) your fault, negligence or breach of statutory duty; or

(3) Your use of software robots, spiders, crawlers, or similar data gathering and extraction tools, or any other action you take that imposes an unreasonable burden or load on our infrastructure (whether owned by, leased or licensed to us) or that of any of our Suppliers.

15. General

Any contractual or legal relationship between you and TMG will be concluded in English.

All notices shall be sent by email to us at enquiries@financehunt.co.uk or to you at either the email or postal address you provide during the registration process (if any). Notice will be deemed received 24 hours after an email is sent or 3 days after the date of posting.

These Terms (together with any variations to them under section 2) form the entire agreement between the parties concerning your access to, browsing and use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, arrangements, understandings and representations made between us (whether written or oral) concerning the Site.

The licence granted in section 5 above is personal to you and may not be assigned, transferred or sub-licensed (in whole or in part) without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to or shall operate to create a partnership or joint venture between us or to authorise either of us to act as agents for the other. Neither of us shall have authority to work in the name or on behalf of or otherwise to bind the other in any way (including but not limited to the making of any representation or warranty, the assumption of any obligation or liability and the exercise of any right or power).

Suppose the whole or any part of any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, void or unenforceable for any reason. In that case, the same shall, to the extent required, be severed from these Terms and rendered ineffective so far as is possible without modifying the remaining provisions and shall in no way affect the validity or enforceability of any other provisions.

No waiver by TMG of any breach of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of any other prior or subsequent breach and TMG shall not be affected by any delay, failure or omission to enforce or express forbearance granted in respect of any of your obligations.

TMG’s rights and remedies under these Terms are independent, cumulative, and without prejudice to its rights under the law.

These Terms are not intended to create and shall not make any rights, entitlements, claims or benefits enforceable by any third party by the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

These Terms and your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed by English law, and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute which may arise.

This statement has been published under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by the finance unit Media Group during 2024 to ensure that slavery or human trafficking does not occur in our own business or supply chains.

We are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities and to ensuring that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Our business and supply chains

The Finance Hunt is a multi-platform media organisation employing a workforce with diverse skill sets.

Its core business is publishing in print and online the following newspaper titles: The Daily Finance Hunt, The Sunday Finance Hunt, and the website www.financehunt.co.uk. Its primary strategy is to make content available through traditional and new media formats, including print, web, and digital content on computers and mobile devices.

Our company is domiciled in the UK and has a broad global audience.

We engage with several suppliers for our operations, including printing and distribution, building and office services, events services, media services, recruitment, technology, and training.

Policies and Processes

The Company strives to maintain the highest standards of conduct and ethical behaviour from our employees and our suppliers.

We have a wide range of policies relating to modern slavery, which we have embedded in our Staff Handbook and Supplier Business Code of Conduct. Our plans make it clear to our staff and suppliers what actions and behaviours are expected of them.

Our employees and our suppliers are required to observe those policies and codes. Additionally, our whistleblowing policy encourages our employees, customers, business partners and suppliers to report any concerns, including any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.

We undertake due diligence when engaging with new suppliers, especially where there is potential for modern slavery.

We have written to all our existing suppliers to raise awareness of contemporary slavery and seek assurances from them that they provide safe working conditions where necessary, treat workers with dignity and respect, and act ethically and within the law in their use of labour.

We have evaluated the modern slavery and human trafficking risks for our suppliers and identified those where there is a higher potential for modern slavery.

Our procurement and compliance teams monitor the areas of enhanced risk.

Training and Awareness

The company requires professionals in our procurement, compliance and HR teams to complete training on modern slavery.

In addition to training staff, we will raise awareness of contemporary slavery issues and reiterate our Supplier Business Code of Conduct to them. The organisation’s Senior Management Group has approved this statement, which it will review and update annually.
